Mark Zuckerberg – $59 Million, Lake Tahoe
With a net worth of $75.5 billion, he is the ninth richest man in the world on Forbes’ 2019 list. True to his credentials and net worth, he bought two side mansions in Lake Tahoe that cost $59 million. The smaller mansion, a Tudor-style home, was built in the 1930s and is called Carousel Estate. The bigger one was constructed in the 1960s and named Brushwood Estate. Since Zuckerberg is probably busy maintaining and running his businesses, his financial advisor is surely paid enough to have his back, keeping his investment properties safe. They may even be planning his next real estate investment.
It’s not certain if Mark Zuckerberg keeps a close eye on the real estate market. He can certainly pay for any property he wants with his $105 billion net worth. We don’t see Zuckerberg going out of his busy schedule to accumulate real estate assets. He currently has a lot of companies to manage and treats this Lake Tahoe property as an escape from everyday life rather than an asset to make money on.
