Erin Crocker – Dodge Ram – $41K

Best known as an American professional race car driver, Erin Mary Crocker Evernham earned an outstanding newcomer award delivered by the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame. Crocker first started racing at seven years old in Thompson, Connecticut, in the Custom Quarter Midget Club, and in the Silver City Quarter Midget Club in Meriden, Connecticut. She is also a broadcaster for Motor Racing Network’s Winged Nation and is actually very talented when it comes to sports. She can play soccer, lacrosse, and tennis and was a varsity player during her high school and college years.

Her motorsports career stalled because of poor results and a personal relationship between Crocker and team owner, former boss, and current husband, Ray Evernham. Crocker’s choice of a tough Dodge Ram valued at an estimated $24,301 gave her a much-needed competitive edge at the 2006 NASCAR Series. Not spending too much on cars, she may have some good investment planning on her side.
