BILLY JOEL – 1973 AUDI FOX – AT LEAST $7,000

He is not called the “Piano Man” for no reason. Billy Joel is certainly capable of playing the piano effortlessly. This is also the name of his first album, which contained his major song of the same name. Being born in the Bronx certainly helped hone Joel’s inclination for and talent in music. He even dropped out of high school to pursue this career path and start two bands, Attila and The Hassles. They were short-lived, but not Joel’s music career, which lived on.

Taking a peek at the musician’s garage would reveal his interest in motorcycles more than cars. He is also not the type of person to buy flashy cars and opts for the simple yet classy ones. The first car he bought when he made it big was a 1973 Audi Fox or also known as Audi 80. The compact executive car has a sporty suspension. It was also given credit as the European Car of the Year in 1973, owing to its German Engineering. Used-car prices go for about $7,000, so we can assume that brand new ones were much more expensive but still within the reasonable range.
