15. Return To The Blue Lagoon (1991)

Starring: Milla Jovovich, Brian Krause, Lisa Pelikan

Directed By: William A. Graham

Aside from directing this film, William A. Graham also produced this movie alongside Peter Bogart. The film is about a mother who raised her daughter and adoptive son in isolation, specifically, on an island. After the passing of the matriarch, her two children grew up so quickly that they even formed a romantic relationship. However, their lives were in danger after the arrival of the outsiders on the island.

Return to The Blue Lagoon got a disappointing score on Rotten Tomatoes Tomatometer, which is 0%, but its audience score garnered an overwhelming 42%. This big-screen project only used $2.3 million, even if it’s Columbia Pictures Corporation release, and film critics were unstoppable to give their two cents. Miranda Sawyer from Empire Magazine took it to a certain degree after she mentioned that the director showed “a picture of love that is tediously sexist.” while giving it two stars out of five.
