If you were to get tattooed, would you want a small and modest one? Or would you go the flashy and elaborate route? Well, for singer/actress Keke Palmer, it’s a little bit of both. First off, Keke has a near-inconspicuous tattoo on her upper right thigh that says “perception,” with a straight line that breaks the word in the middle. However, she does have one bolder ink on her rib cage that reads, “don’t cast thy pearls before swine.” The Bible quote is perhaps a reminder for Keke to never give her best self to people who do not know how to appreciate her. It’s such a powerful message.

One that we can all learn from, to be honest. That’s not all, though! Keke also has a large tattoo at the back of her neck that shows an image of African pyramids with words saying, “Queen of Kush.” The singer/actress got this tattoo specifically to commemorate her African heritage. Given that all these contain a deeper meaning, we’re sure that Keke did not hesitate to swipe her credit card at the tattoo parlor.
