Mark Andrew & Gene Robinson

Gene Robinson made headlines when he became the Episcopal Bishop of New Hampshire and being the only openly gay bishop too. Though many were shocked by his new role in the Episcopal Church,the newly elected bishop stuck to his guns and continued with his work. It helped to know that his long-time partner and now husband,Mark Andrew,was beside him all the way. In fact,they have been together for more than two decades!

To their credit,they put in a lot of work in keeping their relationship. Aside from Bishop Robinson’s role in the church,he often makes sure that he has time for his husband and their children. Although Robinson was married to a woman for 13 years,there was no denying his sexuality. The couple did go their separate ways but remained close friends. What’s even better is that the Bishop’s family have accepted them too and gave their blessings to their union. However,Andrew and Robinson had also gone their separate ways.
