Melissa McCarthy

Known for her slapstick and physical humor, Melissa McCarthy has been a well-known comedian today. While comedy pretty much defined her, she also appeared in several more serious roles such as Can You Ever Forgive Me?, The Starling, and The Kitchen. Many are familiar with her when she was quite chubby. Her chubbiness is a key factor in her physical comedy.

Today, however, she has managed to slim down greatly. According to her, she lost around 70 lbs. of her weight, which she managed to do through a liquid diet. While the diet can be a fast way to shed some pounds, it can be excruciating, as McCarthy had experienced. To most of us, such a diet can lead to sickness, which can use up our investment money. Regardless, it is clear that she is quite slimmer than before.

Miranda Lambert

Miranda Lambert was once much heavier than she is now. Around the time she was together with Blake Shelton during the early 2010s, she took a serious look at her weight. Prior to the two calling it quits, she managed to lose around 25 lbs. from her weight. While most people may discount or even underestimate 25 lbs. of lost weight, it was apparently a game-changer for her.

While we may never know if she was slimming down for her imminent breakup, what is certain is that she has posed with confidence in front of the camera since. She has shared her secrets to achieving her ideal body. According to her, she was quite all over the place when she wanted to lose weight. To her credit, her determination alone has been a big factor in her weight loss.

Nicole Polizzi

Known as Snooki in Jersey Shore, Nicole Polizzi has been a notorious figure on the show. She was noted to be a heavy drinker, which was showcased on the show through her drunken walks. However, when she became a mom, she started to be serious about her health and basically abandoned her party life. Instead, she started to pursue a much healthier lifestyle.

Today, Polizzi is quite different from her Jersey Shore days. While she still had an appearance credit on the reunion series back in 2018, she has stated that she does not want to return anymore to Jersey Shore. We can’t blame her, as her much slimmer body can attest to that. In addition, she has been much more focused on raising her kids.

Nicole Richie

Though Nicole Richie is naturally petite, did you know she still went on a diet? Back in 2014, Lionel Richie’s child dropped down to 88 pounds. Despite the degree of rumors about her massive weight loss, reportedly living on a diet based on sunflower seeds, celery, juices, and bubble gum, a source revealed she was perfectly healthy.

Though she looked thinner than usual back then, it couldn’t be denied that it fit her. Well, if she loved her body, who were the people to judge? Richie could even boast a tiny waistline and a prominent jawline that made her look like a real model. She also questioned the people asking about her health when she actually felt 100% fine and healthy.

Oprah Winfrey

Oprah Winfrey lost over 40 pounds after following one of the most popular weight loss programs, Weight Watchers. The Queen of All Media found Weight Watchers much easier to follow compared to other programs. It wasn’t a diet but a lifestyle that changed her eating habit and way of living.

Winfrey even gave it credits for allowing her to continue enjoying some of her favorite foods, like tacos and pasta, making her feel not deprived. She continued that it felt freeing. Of course, she coupled it with exercises, like pushing herself to do 10,000 steps a day, to make it more effective. Weight Watchers helps to track people’s calorie intake that is said to be most “livable” as its users now have a tool to handle their eating habits.

Paul Wall

Paul Wall surprised everyone when he showed a photo of himself, looking 100 pounds lighter. So how did he do it? He said in an interview he got a call from VH1’s reality show, Celebrity Fit Club, and it was an instant wake-up call for him. He revealed his being fat wasn’t a secret at all. Although he tried to hide it at first, he found himself still looking heavy.

With that being said, he didn’t mind making an investment in his fitness journey and opted for gastric sleeve surgery. The procedure involved cutting out the hormones that made him feel hungry, so he now felt instantly full. After hitting 320 pounds and losing 100, Wall believed he was already in a “healthier weight class.”

Perez Hilton

Perez Hilton has successfully kept the pounds off after his incredible weight loss back in 2012. No, he didn’t undergo any surgery or take any pills for that. He said he did it in a “good old fashion way.” The King of Hollywood Gossip just changed his lifestyle by eating healthy and exercising.

Hilton did an intense workout seven days a week, though it varied. He had himself signed up for a gym membership, thanks to his trusty credit card, and exercise in there every Monday through Thursday. For Friday and Saturday, he did Pilates and Yoga on Sundays. Food-wise, Hilton followed a very clean diet and delivered his meals to ensure he got the right nutrients. With his hard work, he lost a huge 70 pounds.

Queen Latifah

Another celebrity who triumphed to keep the weight off is Queen Latifah. After being the spokeswoman of the nutrition company Jenny Craig, she has successfully shed off more than 20 pounds. However, as she aged, the singer revealed her wish to know more about nutrition and exercise when she was younger.

Latifah just realized its good effect on the body. So, if she only knew, she would have started dieting and exercising a long time ago. However, the actress admitted she didn’t really follow a diet but was more on doing exercises. She loves walking and only eats in moderation, though she eats a lot of vegetables and lean meats. Of course, Latifah also drinks a “whole lot of water.”

Rachael Ray

Rachael Ray lost a whopping 40 pounds, making her look both dazzling and stunning. So, what’s her secret? She’s a gym buff. After undergoing a medical procedure that upset her, she took her frustration at the gym. Spending a little on gas to go there wasn’t a problem at all. In fact, she was even accompanied by her husband, and together, they started training and lost weight.

She would usually do a mix of cardio and strength training, running three and a half miles in the morning. The celebrity chef also does strength work on the machines, doing biceps, triceps, and twists. Ray revealed gym is her “recess” from her job. Even though she is always on the go, working out is her personal time.

Randy Jackson

Randy Jackson decided to lose weight after being diagnosed with a serious health condition. The 65-year-old musician called the procedure of dieting a legal separation from food without needing a lawyer, but before that, he underwent gastric bypass surgery. This allowed the American Idol judge to change his lifestyle completely, and he has now managed to maintain his healthy and fit body over the past two decades.

He used to weigh a massive 358 pounds and lost 114 pounds after a major health transformation. Though this change was long overdue, Jackson still managed to do it. He said goodbye to sausage, grits, bread pudding, and beignets and said hello to fruits, vegetables, and other healthy food. Thankfully, it was never too late.
