For Angelina Jolie’s motivation to pursue an acting career, it’s safe to say a portion of the credit goes to her parents. Although she started as a child actress, performing alongside her father in 1982’s Lookin’ to Get Out, she got her first shot to fame a few years after, when she won an Academy Award for her performance in 1999’s Girl, Interrupted.
