Ellen DeGeneres and partner Portia de Rossi undoubtedly broke a ton of barriers when they formally tied the knot back in August 2008. More than a decade later,the couple continues to inspire many people,including all of the LGBT community,with their love story. They’ve certainly come a long way since they first met at a party back in 2000. After dating for almost a couple of decades,it’s pretty evident that they’re still incredibly in love with each other.

There’s no question that DeGeneres and de Rossi are sharing a blissful marriage together,however,they’ve experienced a couple of bumps along the way. Luckily,the two didn’t need the help or intervention from any group of lawyers to fix their relationship. The two continue to be married today and are often engaged in doing numerous animal rights advocacies.
